“We proposed that consumption be exonerated, at least, for a product that is not what we pay for, which is water, that people pay for. In addition, we believe that we are in a particular situation, at least an emergency, it will be seen if that is accepted,” he said.
Bouvier, however, stated at the end of the meeting at a press conference that the situation was of “concern” but not an emergencysomething that Cosse also proposed.
In addition, Orsi maintained that the government should “try to control” the prices of bottled water, although he acknowledged that “for now it is good.” “But you’re going to have to even enable the importation of bottled water because of the situation that is coming our way,” he predicted.
