Orlando Pérez: «Medicines in Panama are expensive, we need cheaper prices»

Orlando Pérez, president of the National Union of Pharmacy Owners, spoke about the disagreement with Executive Decree 28, which extends the price caps for medicines. “This decree is leading to shortages,” he said.

“We want the government to sit down with drug manufacturers to sell drugs at the same or better prices to Panama than they do to other countries,” said Orlando Pérez, president of the National Union of Pharmacy Owners.
