Immigration inspectors on duty at the Tocumen International Airport detected two Indian citizens, with fraudulent Canadian visas in their passports, attempting to transit from Istanbul, Turkey to Cancun, Mexico.
Likewise, a second group of immigration units assigned to the main Panamanian air terminal detected three Chinese citizens, carrying fraudulent United Kingdom visas in their passports. In this case, the foreigners were also in transit and their final destination was Mexico.
While this Sunday, May 21, a citizen of the People’s Republic of China was returned from Quito, Ecuador, who was in transit, bound for the Netherlands, Amsterdam. This foreigner tried to reroute him to Miami, United States, using an altered passport from Korea.
In each of the cases their transit was interrupted and they were returned to their respective ports of embarkation.
