Oriente Petrolero ended up bitter against Real Tomayapo (1-1) this Wednesday night at the Tahuichi stadium. The team from Tarija opened the scoring in the first half, while the refiners matched the actions in the second half. The clash was for the first date of Group A, of the Professional Division Cup.
It was a time for each team. In the first, Tomayapo treated the ball bettern with a safe Pedro Galindo in goal and a solid defense led by Leandro Corulo and Juan Pablo Rioja in the central defense. In the middle sector, Jeffinho, like Meteo Hernández, took charge of complicating the purslane.
In the East, the sparks of Henry Vaca, the dedication of Daniel Rojas and the will of Jonathan Cristaldo did not reach to string together plays of real danger in the initial stage.
The first goal came from a penalty kick. In an unfortunate action, the ball hit the left arm of Daniel Rojas, after a header from his teammate Luis Gutiérrez. The referee Guildo Quenda, after reviewing the VAR, sanctioned the maximum penalty. The person in charge of changing it for a goal was Leandro Corulo (26′). The Argentine chipped the ball to dislodge goalkeeper Wilson Quiñonez and decree the surprise 0-1.
By the end of this first period, the goal Quiñonez saved the refinery arc after a free kick executed by Sergio Villamil.
Around the locker room, East improved remarkably. He cornered his rival, but it was difficult for him to hole it. They entered the Cristhian Árabe refinery for Henry Vaca, Leonardo Villagra instead of Junior Sánchez and Cristian Álvarez for Jorge Correa. These variants made him gain offensive weight.
It took 76 minutes of play for Oriente to draw (1-1), through the Paraguayan Villagra. The attacker launched himself from a dove after a cross sent from the right by Cristaldo.
Oriente showed a game almost similar to the one used against Nacional Potosí on the first date of the League championship. He left the initiative to the visit in the initial stage and reacted in the complement.
However, this time it was not a refinery victory, because in front of him he had a team that, despite playing with 10 men from minute 58 (Luis Alberto Ali Vega was sent off for a double yellow card), redoubled their efforts, and at times the superiority of the local number was not noticed.
The result is fair for a chapaco team that with little took a unit against an Oriente, that should improve the collective functioning playing at home, especially in the first 45 minutes.
On the next date, Oriente will visit Libertad Gran Mamoré (03/15)while Tomayapo receiveto Wilstermann (03/14) in Tarija.
