Organized people demonstrate to the international community their commitment to Venezuela

The national head of the Federal Council of GovernmentLeonardo Montezuma, in a telephone conversation with Venezuelan Television (VTV), sent a message to the international community that has its eyes on Venezuela, and stressed that “the right that does not believe in Venezuela should see how the people work, fight and continue to bet on their country.”

In this regard, he said, “Here, less than a month before the presidential elections, we are reopening the voting centers to exercise democracy, and we see how the people who work and fight continue to bet on Venezuela. And that right wing that continues to call for violence, see how those of us who believe in the Homeland are voting, going out and showing what Venezuela has really suffered with the blockade.”

He also highlighted the role of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, as that great leader who “allows us all to meet.”

“Look at this people who are showing today that there is a new democratic, participatory and leading model. In a democracy that is not delegated to anyone. Today we are once again deciding on the actions that will take place in each community. We continue in the Battle because this Venezuela deserves all of our identity, work and dedication,” he said.

On the development of the day of the II National Popular Consultation He stressed that the people “are organized, prepared and in battle.”

He also said that this model of decision-making “is difficult for the right to understand,” and noted that “today, more than ever, we are determined to build, in Venezuela, self-government continues to be given to the people.”
