Organizations condemn the assault of gringo ship to Venezuelan boat

Political organizations of the world spoke against the assault of the American missile destroyer against the Venezuelan boat Carmen Rosa, in which tuna fishermen were traveling.

The signatory political and social organizations, from the Dominican Republic, we fully solidarity with the complaint of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela before the aggression committed by the United States missile destroyer against the Venezuelan Atune boat Carmen Rosa, in waters of its exclusive economic zone. This hostile act represents an unacceptable violation of international law and the norms that guarantee peaceful coexistence among nations, by illegally and cowardly assaulting humble Venezuelan fishermen.

We categorically reject these practices of an era of privateers, and we demand that the United States immediately withdraw its nuclear ships and submarines from the Caribbean’s waters. The Caribbean is and must continue to be a peace zone, as established by international resolutions and treaties, and no country in the world can self -proclaim with the right to impose its military force above national sovereignty and protocols that govern international relations.

The dignity of the Venezuelan people is not negotiated or bent. Venezuela will never be a slave of American imperialism and, in the name of the solidarity of the peoples of the Caribbean and our America, we will reaffirm that we will defend peace, sovereignty and self -determination against all provocation and imperial threat.

Venezuela is not a threat, Venezuela is a hope!
