Trade union and social organizations, leaders and officials of the Judiciary will march next Tuesday to the headquarters of the Supreme Court to demand changes in Justice.
Under the slogan “Democratize Justice”, the call will be at 6:00 p.m. in Plaza Lavalle, in front of the Palace of Justice of the Buenos Aires macro-center, and will have the already announced assistance of the Minister of Territorial Development and Habitat, Jorge Ferraresi; the head of the Central of Workers of Argentina (CTA), Hugo Yasky; the co-secretary general of the CGT and trucker leader, Pablo Moyano; and the social leader Luis D’Elia, among others.
There will also be one of the organizers of the call, the judge of the Oral Criminal and Correctional Court 29, Juan María Ramos Padilla, father of federal judge Alejo Ramos Padilla, who carried out the investigation by the false lawyer Marcelo D’Alessio.
Ramos Padilla, a personal friend of former President Raúl Alfonsín, was one of the first judges to investigate, as soon as democracy was restored, the final disposition of the disappeared in public cemeteries in the province of Buenos Aires.
Announcing the mobilization, Ramos Padilla called for the public act so that the Judiciary “becomes a justice service” and so that its function does not remain a mere “protection of interests that are not those of Argentines.”
