Organization that supports Nicaraguan migrants requests donations to continue humanitarian work

humanitarian organization Texas Nicaraguan Community (TNC) is requesting economic collaboration to continue its humanitarian work for Nicaraguans in a state of vulnerability.

TNC provides information on migrants from Nicaragua who are mostly victims of different hostile situations after trying to reach the United States.

“Everyone’s collaboration is requested, this collection is to continue with the humanitarian work that we are carrying out, there are no resources and the requests are many,” the organization announced through its official Facebook page.

The organization, registered in the state of Texas, United States, was founded in 2018 and is made up of a group of Nicaraguans, who, according to details, “donate their time to carry out humanitarian work for our Nicaraguan compatriots inside and outside the United States ».

“The mission has always been of a humanitarian nature, assisting many people in Nicaragua with basic baskets, assistance in COVID-19, assistance to nursing homes, rescuing Nicaraguans in a state of indigence in Mexico and returning them to Nicaragua, repatriation of bodies of deceased compatriots as well as the search for missing bodies within Mexico and the USA,” the organization recalled.

Among other tasks is support for people seeking asylum in the US and who have tests to qualify; They also help with translations of testimony, assistance to Nicaraguans in transit through Texas, coordination of work with agencies and authorities in Mexico and the United States.
