O Official Diary of the Union publishes, this Friday (24), ordinance of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI) establishing, within the scope of the MCTI, the InovaNióbio Program. According to the document, it will act in priority areas and consists of an instrument for the integral development of the niobium production chain, focusing on the stage of use and application of oxides, metals, alloys in materials and high technology products.
The program aims, among other actions, to structure governance and coordinate the State’s efforts in scientific research, technological development, innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of niobium; and promote the advancement and strengthening of science, technology, innovation and national entrepreneurship in the niobium production chain, with a view to generating wealth, jobs and national development
It also intends to stimulate the development and reciprocal transfer of knowledge, new technologies and business models between academia and the public and private sectors, associated with niobium, with a view to generating wealth, jobs and national development.
