Orange alert in effect for winds of 60 to 90 kilometers per hour in Santa Cruz

As of this Thursday, August 15, the orange alert of the National Meteorological and Hydrological Service (Senamhi) is in effect in Santa Cruz due to the arrival of winds between 60 and 90 kilometers per hour.

The Senamhi report indicates that, since this morning, Thursday 15th until the afternoon of Thursday 22ndModerate to strong winds are expected from the northwest.

The provinces most affected by these weather conditions will be Andrés Ibáñez, Warnes, Ichilo, Sara, Santistevan, the west of Cordillera and Chiquitos, as well as the south of Guarayos and Ñuflo de Chávez.

The orange alert is issued to warn of unusual phenomena that represent a considerable danger to daily activities. In this situation, the population is advised to Avoid parking vehicles or carrying out activities under trees, signs, poles or buildingsas gusts could cause objects to fall.
