The National Electoral Council of Venezuela approved three requests that had been submitted to begin the process of a possible recall referendum of the president Nicholas Maduro.
The requests are from the Venezuelan Movement for the Recall, from All United for the Recall Referendum and for him National Executive Committee of Confedejunta. They became the spokespersons to request the activation of the referendum.
To achieve that purpose they need the 20% of those registered in the electoral censusl of Venezuela, who must support the process with their signatures in accordance with the provisions of article 72 of the Constitution.

With this approval, the groups began to mobilize again and went together to present the petitions to the National Electoral Council. From then on, the opposition leader Americo de Grazia said they need “unite, mobilize and organize” for citizens to give their signatures.
Another of the leaders Nick Evans, who told citizens to “be convinced that Democracy can be restored in the country” and thus invited them to sign and join the petitions. His message is “to tell Maduro that to revoke it is to love Venezuela”.
