The opposition march lacked Zócalo. The country’s main square was insufficient to accommodate those summoned (including, in the eyes of a good rally worker, 20 percent of mobilized by the mayors that Morena does not govern). In the square itself and on social networks, the conveners did not hide their joy at finally disputing a central symbolic space for the obradorismo.

President, my President, they told Marko Cortés when he boarded a huge white van. Only one or two people managed to offer him their respects, because the PAN leader quickly raised the darkened glass of his vehicle, parked on a street from the Zócalo. It was hot.

Shortly after, the leader of the party, of which never been a militant Genaro Garcia Luna-Cortez dixit– celebrated that More than 500,000 people gathered so that in the National Palace they understand that the people are already tired of their bad government.

A lot of partisan cream in the citizen tacos, because if he had collected that number, his truck would hardly have reached the corner of 16 de Septiembre.

With greater fidelity to arithmetic, the PRD Fernando Belaunzarán, in his capacity as master of ceremonies, would say shortly before 11 in the morning: we are a bunch!

And yes, they were. The square and the surrounding streets were completely filled, so that portions of the protesters had to settle for following the speeches on the screens placed expressly.

The street 16 de Septiembre, between Pino Suárez and 20 de Noviembre, packed, repeatedly burst into ovations with the speech of former minister José Ramón Cossío, whose speech left forgotten, for the good of the opposition image, the bunch of commonplaces and slogans that the PRI member Beatriz Pagés had released shortly before.

Corrupt, conservative, hypocriticalPresident Andrés Manuel López Obrador foisted on him last Thursday morning, regarding the shelving of the Court in the case of the ABC Nursery.

The former minister acknowledged receipt and responded in the Plaza Mayor, addressing the ministers who will have the future of the plan B: “Those of us who are here want to speak to you with another language, with the language of trust and respect that corresponds to the Democrats… we know of the pressures to which they are being subjected by those who want to appropriate the Mexican electoral system.”

Rosario Alfaro Flores, an administrative worker at the Ministry of Education, was one of those enthusiastic about the ex-minister’s speech. She came from Ecatepec with a pink cardboard on which she wrote a message that she proudly displayed for the photo: Yazmín Esquivel plagiarized, outside the SCJN

–The minister has said that she did not plagiarize.

That’s not being ashamed. It is a bad example for young people who are no longer going to want to study, but rather buy their titles.

Mrs. Alfaro’s marching companion carried another cardboard with the legend “No to the plan B. It is incapacitating the INE”.

The march was guessed nourished from the Metro itself. The wagons were full of people dressed in pink garments, some with flowers of the same color that they later deposited at the gate of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, land where the dispute will soon be.

Another indicator: at the end of the rally, just after noon, it was impossible to get a chair in the restaurants in the area, while lots of cars were leaving the parking lots of those who did not dare to travel on public transport.

we come from far awaysaid Belaunzarán, referring to the fight for electoral democracy, and brought Octavio Paz, Luis H. Álvarez and Heberto Castillo to the square.

But the illustrious deceased were not the representative figures of the opposition march. Some came in response to Vicente Fox’s call, others to accompany alito Moreno, and perhaps some more, clueless, by Ulises Ruiz or Elba Esther Gordillo.

They were not, however, burned cartridges those who unified the protesters. They came, said the call, because #Mivotonosetoca, but many were moved by other grievances, real or imaginary.

Francisco Javier Argotte, merchant of neza, He brought a piece of cardboard on which he wrote: “If the INE fails us, the next elections will be organized by the uniformed people (Army) and the armed people (narco)”. The merchant Argotte was moved by the defense of the INE, but also by the corruption of this government: it may be that he (López Obrador) does not steal, but he is surrounded by a cabal that loots.

In his youth, the merchant voted for Carlos Salinas (it wasn’t as bad as they say), but since 1994 he has voted for the PAN.

Another hand-drawn billboard on Avenida 20 de Noviembre: Enough of the whims and foolishness of this government. It is carried by Ximena López, who regrets her last name, and with her husband, Carlos Álvaro Barneta, she is convinced that If they take the money from the INE they will put whoever they want.

“Tell him where you work,” the wife commands.

–In the Metro, and I can tell you that since the PRD governments arrived, maintenance has ended.

In addition to the generic instructions of defense of the INEa scream was the one that united the voices, especially in the farewell, when they all started their way back.

It was the cry of the middle classes who feel aggrieved. They released it spontaneously on November 20, in Pino Suárez and Madero. One person started and the cry spread spontaneously: Out with Lopez, out with Lopez!

Elba Esther Gordillo joined in with a video in which she repeated the slogan: My vote is not touched. we come from far awayBelaunzarán had said. Yes, from as far as the patriotic fraud that prevented the PAN member Francisco Barrio from reaching the governorship of Chihuahua in 1986. The then PRI member Gordillo, as history records, was the stellar operator.
