Within the framework of the 215 anniversary of the beginning of the struggle for the independence of Venezuela sealed on April 19, 1810, political parties and opposition leaders claimed their struggle for freedom and ratified their commitment to the defense of democracy in the country.

We are heirs of an indomitable spirit that does not surrender to adversity. The commitment to Venezuela is firm. The fight is for a free, fair and peaceful country ».

The political organization Citizen Meetingled by Delsa Solórzano, recalled the date as the beginning of a deed that sowed the conviction that the changes are possible when there is unity around a common purpose.

«In Venezuela today, we continue to face challenges. The fight is against a regime that oppresses the rights of citizenship and that, despite everyday difficulties, we continue to fight with resistance, hope and commitment ».

“Today, the vast majority of Venezuelans continue to fight against the power that has restricted freedoms, unknown popular sovereignty, weakened institutions and silenced voices, and plunged into the country in a long economic, social and political crisis,” he said.

Andrés Caleca, on the other hand, said that on April 19, Venezuelans expressed their desire to assume control of their own matters, so it was asked: are we still willing, or do we return to the guardianship of other powers?, wrote in his X account.
