Operative in the pantheons

Until November 2 in the mayor’s offices they will carry out operations with the objective that the visit of the families to the pantheons be without setbacks:

  • Access with alcoholic beverages is prohibited

Azcapotzalco

This mayor’s office has seven pantheons: San Isidro, Santa Lucía, Santa Cruz Acayucan, San Pedro Xalpa, San Juan Tlihuaca, San José and San Andrés de las Salinas.

Local authorities will carry out the Blindar Azcapotzalco Día de Muertos 2022 operation, with the aim of detecting and inhibiting the introduction and consumption of alcoholic beverages and toxic substances. Sanitary measures will be maintained by covid-19. In this demarcation there will be no Dry Law.

Alvaro Obregon

Road operations, security monitoring, as well as water supply for the nine civil pantheons that exist in the demarcation will be carried out.

There will also be garbage collection and maintenance and gardening work, mainly in the three civil pantheons: Tarango, Santa Fe and San Rafael.

Coyoacan

To protect families, the mayor’s office will deploy elements of Civil Protection, Citizen Security and Public Roads on both days. In addition, there will be water service and garbage collection.

Miguel Hidalgo

In this demarcation, unified command centers will be set up in each of the cemeteries to monitor the areas, in addition to sanitary filters to avoid contagion of covid-19, despite the fact that the use of face masks is optional.

The mayor’s office explained that there will be three ambulances with paramedics available to attend to emergencies. He announced that access and permanence in the pantheons for the public will be from 07:00 to 18:00.

Tlalpan

The days November 1 and 2 the pantheons will have a special schedule in this mayor’s office: from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.the other days from 08:00 to 17:00.

The demarcation expects an influx of more than 30,000 people in the 11 pantheons, with San Miguel Topilejo and November 20 being the most popular.

Mixquic

The town of Mixquiclocated in the Tlahuac Mayor’s Officeis one of the pantheons where one of the most attractive activities for the inhabitants of Mexico City as well as tourists is carried out.

In the demarcation, the authorities agreed to establish a dry law in some points and establishments, and in the towns of San Pedro Tláhuac and San Andrés Mixquic.

The dry law in Tláhuac will be applied from 00:00 hours on Monday, October 31 and will end at 24:00 hours on November 2.
