The Spanish Civil Guard arrested five people accused of belonging to a network that introduced high-purity cocaine from Paraguay through Madrid’s international airport.
According to the Civil Guard, the Yacaré operation allowed the arrest of three men and two women of Paraguayan nationality, for alleged crimes related to drug trafficking and belonging to a criminal organization, and the seizure of four kilos of cocaine at the Adolfo Suárez airport. Madrid-Barajas.
The agents detected four packages from Asunción with three identical thermos flasks each, twelve in total, with false bottoms in which 4,085 grams of this drug were hidden, and they discovered that it was a perfectly structured group, since each of its members it had a function.
The organization was made up of a boss, who operated from prison, and the five detainees: a person in charge of assigning the tasks, a person in charge of the shipments and the three recipients of the drug, according to a statement from the Civil Guard.
