An inspection of the Cerro Patacón landfill was carried out by units of the Police Service for Children and Adolescents together with personnel from the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development, the National Secretariat for Children, Adolescents and Family, and the Capital Sanitation Authority to ensure that there are no minors working in this area.
Deputy Commissioner Rubén Guardia, Head of the Canal Police Zone, indicated that in this operation to eradicate child labor and the violation of the rights of children and adolescents, prophylaxis and verifications were carried out on the citizens who were at the site, there was no presence of minors on the site.
The National Police maintains its preventive actions to ensure the well-being of children in the country.
