Security organizations were deployed from this Thursday in La Guaira to execute Operation Thunder V aimed at dismantling and demobilizing the criminal organizations that operate there.
The deployment is carried out by Carayaca and Puerto Cruz, with irradiation towards neighboring sectors of the Aragua state such as Ocumare de la Costa and Colonia Tovar.
A total of 1,270 police and military officials participate. A preliminary balance indicates that there are seven arrested gang leaders and one killed.
