The National Police, through Operation Lancelot, arrested 592 people in the last 72 hours. Of these, 345 were arrested on official charges, 153 for administrative offences, 68 in flagrante delicto, 24 for micro-trafficking and two for drug trafficking.
142 search warrants were carried out, resulting in the seizure of 22 firearms with 139 rounds of ammunition, 12 packages of drugs, the sum of 1,079 dollars in cash, 237 reeds and nine bags of cocaine, as well as 12 bags, nine packages and four cigarettes with marijuana, as well as 54 stone fragments.
In terms of traffic, 5,003 violations were issued, including 979 for speeding, 254 for inadequate lights, 92 for proven drunkenness, 66 for expired licenses, 40 for talking on a cell phone, and 28 for alcohol on the breath.
