Public servants of the National Department of Infrastructure and Transport (Dnit) and companies responsible for the execution and supervision of works contracted by the agency in Paraná are the target this Thursday (10) of Operation Rolo Compressor, by the Federal Police (PF) in partnership with Comptroller General of the Union (CGU) and Federal Revenue.
In just one of the contracts under investigation, with a contracted value greater than R$700 million, there is a loss of more than R$60 million for the public coffers, according to an audit by the CGU.
The investigation, which began in 2015, concerns fraud in contracting and execution of public works, including overpricing and overpricing, aiming at the diversion of public resources, in addition to acts of corruption and money laundering, with indications that the criminal scheme has been operating for a long time. more than a decade.
In the action, arrest warrants and search and seizure warrants were issued by the Federal Court in Curitiba in six states; Paraná, Mato Grosso, Santa Catarina, Federal District, Minas Gerais and São Paulo. The searches involve 125 police officers in 26 locations.
Also according to the PF, one of the investigated was arrested and five public servants were removed on a precautionary basis and had their assets blocked.
