The country’s authorities intervened this Friday in the Fénix Penitentiary Community and the Sergeant David Viloria Penitentiary Center, in the state of Lara, through Operation Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro.
“In the west of the territory, as a single work force, we deployed with the intervention of the Fénix and David Viloria Penitentiary Centers, in the state of Lara, through the promotion of strategic actions of Operation Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro, guaranteeing areas of peace and the human rights of our prisoners. Maximum order and transformation!”, reported the vice minister of the Integrated Police System, Elio Estrada, on his Instagram account.
After these actions, the Minister of Penitentiary Service, Julio García Zerpa, announced that Operation Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro was successfully carried out in both prisons.
“This device, carried out in both prison facilities, was carried out with total order, discipline and security, under strict respect for the human rights to which people deprived of liberty are entitled,” he indicated in a message through Instagram. .
The text on the social network was accompanied by graphics in which the joint work of military and police personnel is evident.
For this reason, he expressed his gratitude to all the civil, military and police organizations, whose members carried out this operation with great success, which yielded positive results in the penitentiary establishments of the Larense entity.
The minister highlighted that the application of the Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro operation, carried out in other prison centers in the country, has as its purpose the good development of these spaces to ensure the new woman and the new man, whose social reintegration turns them into useful human beings for the social and economic progress of Venezuela.
