As “a great logistics and human deployment that transforms communities and takes hope to every corner of the city,” described the mayor of the Libertador municipality of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, Operation Caracas smiles, through the publication of a social documentary in his official Instagram account.
As part of the work that is carried out, in the aforementioned audiovisual the real testimonies and the conference that takes place in the installation previous days of the camps in the Caracas parishes, together with the representatives of each institution of the national government, were highlighted.
“(…) A camp is installed that brings together different institutions to offer health, recreation, food and social care, directly in the communities,” said in the documentary. Similarly, the day has medical care for future mothers, as well as older adults and pets.
Likewise, the coordination that also links to the popular power of each community is also shown. “A team of teams, organization and citizen commitment that shows that the transformation begins with a gesture,” said the highest municipal authority.
