The National Police, in coordination with the Public Ministry, carried out this Monday, April 24, Operation Babylon with 18 search and search procedures in the province of Panama Oeste, where 10 people were apprehended, including an urban music singer and a pastor. .
According to the first investigations, two of the people apprehended are allegedly linked to crimes against the Public Administration in the form of embezzlement and against the Public Faith in the form of Falsification of Documents in General, 8 other people required by Gang and Theft crimes.
Investigations determine that this group sold complete vehicles and others by piece using false documents.
As part of this operation, 4 workshops and a foundation were raided, managing to seize 21 vehicles, cash and various documents, among other evidence.
The people apprehended along with the evidence will be placed under the orders of the corresponding authorities.
