Through Operation Ares F5, the National Police and the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the province of Colón carried out more than 25 search warrants in this and other provinces, in search of people linked to criminal acts recorded in Colón.
A total of 23 people were arrested, including 2 minors wanted for the crime of Homicide and 9 for Rape, Sexual Relations with Minors and Lewd Acts.
Likewise, 3 were arrested for fraud crimes, 6 for theft, including a security guard from the free zone allegedly linked to the crime against economic assets. The latter was seized in a raid of 25 thousand dollars in cash and two firearms.
Those arrested and the evidence were handed over to the judicial authorities, while operations in the province of Colón continue in support of public safety.
