Operation Alpha: 17 weapons seized in the last 24 hours

During the last 24 hours in Operation Alpha, the Security Groups together with the Public Ministry seized 17 firearms and apprehended 203 people throughout the country.

In the apprehensions, 109 were for Officials, 69 for administrative offenses, 17 for flagrante delicto and 8 for micro-trafficking.

23 raids were carried out, 671 ammunition of various calibers, cash, and 1 vehicle were recovered; In addition, 30 foreign citizens were placed under the orders of the National Migration Service when they were detected with expired stays, evasion of immigration controls, and alert impediments, among others.

The units of the National Directorate of Transit Operations posted 1,677 violations of the Traffic Regulations, of which 397 were for speeding, 22 for proven drunkenness, 18 expired licenses, 93 inappropriate lights, 9 for alcoholic breath, and 31 for speaking on the phone. cell phone.
