At least 55 people were arrested in the act on Wednesday (8) in the context of National Operation Integral Protection III, triggered by the Federal Police (PF) in joint action with the civil police of 16 states.
The goal is to identify suspects involved in crimes of sexual abuse of children and adolescents committed, especially through the internet. In a statement, the corporation informed the simultaneous compliance of 182 search and seizure warrants and 11 pre -trial detention warrants across the country.
In addition to the arrests in the act, until the last update made by the PF, two seizures of minors and two victims rescued had been recorded.
617 federal police officers and 273 civil police officers from the following states, Alagoas, Amazonas, Bahia, Ceará, Espirito Santo, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Sao Paulo, besides the Federal District.
