The former minister of the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (Mitradel), Alma Lorena Cortés will be tried in court, after the Judicial Branch decided to open a criminal case against three people, for the alleged commission of the crime against the public administration, in the modality of unjustified enrichment.
The date of the ordinary hearing was set from July 17 to 19, 2023, at 8:20 am, and as an alternate date from August 7 to 11 of that same year, at the same time.
This criminal proceeding relates to an investigation dating back to 2016 where it comes to light that there was alleged unjustified enrichment by the ex-minister for the order of B/.2,587,929.28, while she worked as head of Mitradel.
