The National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) presented this Thursday the designs of the ballot papers for the Regional and Municipal Elections 2022which were approved by Headquarters Resolution No. 002155 published in the Legal Standards offprint of the official newspaper El Peruano.
The event took place in the auditorium of the ONPE headquarters and was attended by representatives of political organizations, electoral system officials, a representative of the Ombudsman’s Office and a notary public.
The regional suffrage card that was presented is divided into two bodies: Regional Governor and Lieutenant Governor and Regional Councilor. It will be 21.00 centimeters long x 24.00 centimeters wide and, according to the number of political organizations that present themselves, the length will increase proportionally up to a maximum of 26.00 cm.
It is important to point out that the body of the ballot paper for the election of regional governor and vice governor includes the photograph of the candidates for regional governor.

In the case of provincial municipal voting cardits dimensions will be 15.00 centimeters long by 21.00 centimeters wide, in horizontal format, when it includes from 1 to 5 political organizations.
From six political organizations, the card will be in vertical format and the minimum size of the card will be 21.00 centimeters long by 15.00 centimeters wide. The width will remain constant and according to the number of political organizations that present themselves and the length will increase proportionally up to a maximum of 32.00 centimeters.

Likewise, the ballot paper for the Second Election for Regional Governor and Deputy Governor shall be 15.00 centimeters long and 21.00 centimeters wide.

Instructions for drawing location of political organizations
