Of the 309 medical courses that were evaluated by the Ministry of Education via National Student Performance Exam (ENADE), applied in 2023, only six took a grade 5, the highest concept of the exam.
From the group of the highest rated, five are in the state of São Paulo and one in Minas Gerais. The results were released on Friday (11).
Only one of the grade 5 courses is public and five are from private institutions:
- Faculty of Medicine of São José do Rio Preto (FAMERP) – Public
- University of West Paulista (UNOESTE/ SP) – Private
- Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (FCMSCSP/SP) – Private
- University Center Governador Ozanam Coelho (UNIFAGOC/MG) – Private
- Israeli College of Health Sciences Albert Einstein (FICSAE/SP) – Private
- Salesian Catholic University Center Auxilium (Unisalesiano/SP) – Private
Concepts
Still in relation to the medical course, four were without evaluation because they did not have graduates or in reduced quantities. Another 119 courses had a grade 4, while 156, grade 3, another 22 took grade 2, and two got grade 1.
The final concept is extracted from student performance assessments, infrastructure and facilities of institutions, didactic-pedagogical resources, faculty and a student for the student.
Frontal health
In all, Enade 2023 evaluated 9,812 courses throughout Brazil. According to the MEC, on a scale from 0 to 100, the health and well-being courses that stood out were medicine (65) and physiotherapy (53.67).
The Courses of Architecture and Urbanism (56.94) and Environmental Engineering (55.22) and Occupational Safety (52.62) were also featured.
In 2023, Enade evaluated the following areas in Bachelor of Agronomy, Architecture and Urbanism, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Forest Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
Among the health courses, besides medicine, biomedicine, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, veterinary medicine, nutrition, dentistry, zootechnics were evaluated. And, from the technology area, they took the test trainees in agribusiness courses, aesthetics and cosmetic, environmental management, hospital management, radiology and occupational safety.
Distance
In all, 7,857 face -to -face courses were evaluated and 492 had the highest concept (which represents 5% of the total). Among the distance learning courses, students from 623 courses took Enade and only six had the highest concept (which means 0.9%).
