Inhabitants of the Villa Crepuscular urbanization, west of Barquisimeto, capital of Lara state, report that the water that reaches their homes has a fetid odor and small snails come out of the pipes.

According to Quero, there are more than 1,500 families affected, who also receive water only three times a week.
