Although the number of people who are inserted into the formal labor market through the National Employment Service (SNE), the linking gap is still wide, has gone in increase, since from October to date, 1.5 million people have sought work in this way, but only 309 thousand (20 percent) they got it.

This situation responds to various factors, including not being convinced of the employment offered to them, the remoteness of the work center of their place of origin or seeking better working and salary conditions, said Claudio Frausto Lara, head of said federal instance.

In this context, the SNE will hold a National Employment Fair for Youth, one of the priority care groups, given the complications they face to find a first job, such as the requirement of having experience. In this edition, which will be held in August in different states of the country, more than 37 thousand formal vacancies of 2,200 companies will be offered in the Commerce, Services, Manufacturing and Transportation sectors, among others.

This is one of the more than 70 national fairs to be held next month on the occasion of the International Youth Day, which is commemorated on August 12, to promote the labor inclusion of this age group, and in them the participation of more than 35 thousand young people is expected. In addition, there will be young program modules building the future to facilitate linking, he said.

In an interview, Fraustro Lara explained that between December 2018 and September, the SNE advised and provided personalized accompaniment to 13.5 million people and placed 2 million 269 thousand, equivalent to 16.8 percent. Of the total population served, 5.6 million were young, of which more than 825 thousand managed to find a job.

In this administration, the goal is to reach at least 2.5 million people linked to the formal labor sector through this service.

Starts house delivery

The director of the National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit), Octavio Romero, reported that in August the delivery of the first houses of the Housing for Welfare in Tamaulipas, Quintana Roo, Yucatán, Tabasco and Sinaloa for right -holders begins with income from one to two minimum wages.

During his visit to the Infonavit headquarters in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, he explained that with the signing of new contracts, next week the Institute will reach an offer of 100 thousand houses under construction, whose maximum cost will be 600 thousand pesos, with 60 square meters, two bedrooms, bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and all services.
