It’s official! The grand final to meet the national champion of the 2024 Professional Division will be played in just one game. This was announced this Thursday by the Competitions Directorate of the Bolivian Football Federation, which will also propose that this match take place on Monday, December 23.

The information was corroborated to Sports 360 at the event that began the construction of the Casa de la Verde in Achumani, La Paz. Competitions indicated that the Superior Council of the Professional Division will receive a report on Thursday night, indicating that the season will conclude with the dispute of a single final and not two, as was initially stipulated in the call.

At the moment, San Antonio de Bulo Bulo, champion of the Apertura tournament, awaits in this final and still has to know its rival, who will be the winner of the Clausura. Bolívar is shaping up to keep the crown; However, The Strongest still has a chance to fight for the title with three dates left until the tournament ends.

The winner of this event will be proclaimed the Bolivian soccer champion for the 2024 season and will also be awarded the million dollars awarded by Conmebol.

As it is a single match, it will be played on a neutral court and the San Antonio leadership proposed that it be played at the Ramón Tahuichi Aguilera stadium in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Meanwhile, Bolívar and The Strongest, the possible rivals, have the Patria de Sucre stadium as their main option.
