Only 9 political organizations complied with calling their internal elections to elect the candidates with a view to the Regional and Municipal Elections (ERM) of October 2 of this year, they also reported it to the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) within the term that expired on January 25, reported the manager of the Regional Coordination Office of the ONPE Huancayo, Lucy Galarza Cardenas.

The ONPE issued Management Resolution No. RG-0003-2022-GOECOR/ONPE and 9 regional movements in Junín complied. These are Let’s Walk Together for Junín, Sustainable Junín with its People, Popular Block Regional Movement, Junín Future and Progress Regional Movement, and the Sierra and Selva Contigo Junín Regional Movement.
These organizations will use the delegate modality; that is to say, its affiliates and affiliates will elect –by voting on May 15– the delegates who will vote on May 22 to define the candidacies.

Unlike the movements that will do so through the affiliated modality: Allies for Change Junín (in the registration process), Junín for All (in the registration process), Corazón Libre and Junín Renace; that is, its affiliates will directly elect the candidates in a single election day that is scheduled for May 15.
“The only members who will cast their votes must be duly registered in the Registry of Political Organizations (ROP)”, he concluded.
