Only in San Miguelito Panama has invested 5 million 545 thousand 744 dollars for the application of anti-covid vaccines

More than $5 million dollars have been invested in the acquisition and application of vaccines against Covid-19 in the district of San Miguelito.

This was reported by the Minister in charge of Health, Ivette Berrío, during the community work tour held on Friday in this district, where she also announced the creation of the first veterinary hospital in the district.

Berrío explained that in total an amount of B/. 5,545,744.00 in 462,244 doses applied.

Regarding sanitary structures, the policy of improvement and construction of facilities continues, this year with an amount of B/. 2,622,826.11 which will benefit 670,435 residents; In terms of equipment for facilities and the Beehive Plan in this first quarter, B/. 143,299.80, benefiting 388,718 inhabitants, broken down as follows: B/. 98,960.40 that benefited 35,826 people, including children from 4 to 59 months of school age, pregnant women, postpartum women, and women of childbearing age.
