A total of 51 new infections of covid-19 by community transmission and 18 from abroad were detected in Venezuela this Thursday, December 29, for a total of 69 cases, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez reported.
During the balance newspaper for the Control and Prevention of covid-19, the official indicated that the community cases of the day were detected in five states of the country.
According to the report, the new cases were registered in Zulia with 14 infected people, Carabobo with 11, Sucre with 6, Caracas with 6 and Apure with 4.

Therefore, Venezuela accumulates to date and since the pandemic began in the country on March 14, 2020, a total of 5,831 deaths.
