There are congressmen —like Maria Alva, of Popular Action— that they have made clear their intention to vacate only the president peter castle and remain in their seats until they complete their five-year term. Well, that option lacks citizen support: only 2% of Peruvians agree with this measure.
This follows from the latest opinion poll conducted by the Institute of Peruvian Studies (IEP), in alliance with the Republic. The field work of the survey was carried out between August 1 and 4, in 24 departments of the country, with a margin of error of 2.8 percentage points.
In an audio released by Hildebrandt in his thirteen, Maria Alva (AP) noted that he intended to vacate Castillo and call elections to replace him, without this implying the change of congressmen. “They have already explained the play to me,” he said on that occasion to his interlocutor. His idea only has the support of 2%.

“This governability crisis is 30 years old and has worsened. Currently, there is misgovernment, corruption and difficulty in meeting the demands of the population. Faced with this, there is a need for a change, but previously minimal modifications are required in the political institutions to avoid their return”, he underlines.

The word
Carlos Herz Saenz, Bartolome de las Casas
“The phrase ‘let them all go’ is not enough. The problem is more complex. It is up to society to mobilize to achieve minimal changes and avoid the return of the same ones that led us to the crisis”.
