Last Friday the 72-hour extension expired that the National Elections Jury (JNE) gave to political groups for their registration with a view to the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections that will be in October. Of the 16 who had registered their pre-candidacies, only thirteen appear.

Popular Action, We Are Peru, Popular Renovation, Let’s Walk Together, Sustainable Junín, Alliance for Progress, Purple Party, Front of Hope, Free Peru, Sierra and Jungle With You Junín, Junín Reborn Patriotic Heart and Faith in Peru are by parties and movements whose list was registered. The JNE will evaluate each one and verify that they have met the requirements. The first week of August will publish the official list of supported groups.
It is noteworthy that the list of Together for Peru, Allies for Change and the Popular Block do not appear on this list. It should be noted that on June 14, when the registration deadline expired, some lists had claimed that the JNE computer system was saturated and their records were not being entered.
In the case of the Popular Bloc, the candidate for the region, Jorge Rodríguez, had already been doing graffiti throughout the region and developing an intense campaign.

The same for Allies for Change. Aaron Vasco, the candidate for the region, was one of the first to start pints in the region. A few months ago his campaign put a brake and today he does not appear on the list of registered.
Finally, Together for Peru they also had José Coicaposa as a regional candidate and sources in this medium indicated that he is still campaigning, so it would seem that it would be a system error.
In the coming weeks, the possibilities will open to present the strikeouts against the list already registered. From this purification, the JNE will have lists of the groups that will participate on October 2 in the Regional and Municipal Elections.
