Only 12 challenges in more than 10,000 minutes dismiss the version of “fraud” in elections

Breastfeeding is a natural act that allows the child to eat when they want and where they want. Given this, the need to have breastfeeding rooms to enforce this right to life.

According to data provided by the Department of Breastfeeding, of the Directorate of Comprehensive Childhood and Adolescent Health, under the General Directorate of Health Programs, at the end of April 2023, are 99 lactation rooms enabled in the national territory.

It is estimated that this number will increase with each course – breastfeeding room workshopsince more and more institutions and companies recognize working women in the maternity period, and their right to continue feeding their baby with their milk.

What is a workplace lactation room?

It is a conditioned space for lactating women to extract and store their milk in adequate conditions, since their body continues to produce milk, even during the working day.

Which company/institution should have breastfeeding rooms?

Law No. 5508/15, Decree 7550/2017, expanded by Law No. 6453/19 on the Promotion, Protection of Maternity and Support for Breastfeeding, establishes that “public institutions and companies in the public-private sector , in which more than ten (10) women work, will implement breastfeeding rooms. The employer will give the working mother the necessary time during the working day, to perform her milk extraction.

In this sense, the Department of Breastfeeding exclusively invites those in charge of breastfeeding rooms that belong to the Human Resources department of the Occupational Health or Well-being program of people from companies and private or public institutions of the South axis, which cover the departments of Ñeembucú, Misiones, Itapuá and Caazapáto enroll in the course – workshop breastfeeding rooms 2023.

The course-workshop is taught in blended mode, remotely, from the Moodle 2.5 platform, from the virtual classroom of the INS (National Institute of Health). The virtual component lasts one month, and culminates with an online exam, which enables the corresponding face-to-face workshop.
