The online duplicate ID application process was temporarily suspended by the Electoral Tribunal (TE).
According to the entity, as of this Tuesday, February 7, the online ID duplicate service, which is offered through the www.tribunalcontigo.com platform, will be provisionally suspended because they will be carrying out updating and modernization, as well as improvements for the inclusion of biometric validation to the system.
The TE indicated that the ID duplicate process will continue to be provided at the entity’s regional and district offices, as well as at multi-service kiosks, located nationwide.
They added that once the service to carry out the online procedure is restored, the institution will inform the public.
