The month of September, when the National Day of Fighting People with Disabilities (21)starts with a fair online that will offer 7,000 jobs for people with disabilities (PCD). Participating in the Virtual Mutirão companies such as Ambev, CSN, Boticário Group, L’Oréal, Mercedes Benz do Brasil, Stone, SulAmérica and Vivo.
The fair includes PCD, in addition to allowing job opportunitiesprovides a series of Lectures and Panels on Diversity and Inclusion, on September 2 and 3. The use of the platform is free, just registering in the website.
The initiative to bring companies and people with disabilities interested in job openings is EGALITE, a company that specializes in the inclusion of PCDs in the job market.
The vacancies are in various areas and regions. The levels and positions are also distinct. When registering in websitethe person can register within the following categories:
- hearing impairment
- disability
- intellectual disability
- psychosocial deficiency
- visual impairment
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder
- Rehabilitated from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS)
More than 14 million PCDs
Brazil has about 14.4 million people with disabilitiesaccording to the 2022 census of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), representing 7.3% of the country’s population 2 years or older.
The census also showed that 2.4 million people claimed to have been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The number corresponds to 1.2% of the Brazilian population.

“Having a workforce that better reflects society will make this company think about how to solve problems, how to serve its customers in a more creative, more innovative way and serving greater audiences,” added the director.
