The Ministry of Welfare (SB) launched yesterday the Rehabilitation and Inclusion Support Program for the Welfare of Girls and Boys with Disabilities in the state of Mexico, in alliance with the Teletón Foundation. In the opening ceremony, the SB’s undersecretary, Ariadna Montiel, pointed out that parents of children with disabilities will receive specialized care for their children at the Teletón Nezahualcóyotl, Tlanepantla and Ecatepec Child Rehabilitation and Inclusion Centers. There they will receive vouchers and a card to follow up on appointments, as well as the progress of the rehabilitation. Montiel, who also heads the coordination of the Pension for the Welfare of People with Disabilities program, recalled that this pension is a constitutional right and already one million receive this support; however, the government will continue to make the necessary efforts to add more children in need.
