This Wednesday, they paid tribute to the professor and revolutionary leader, Aristóbulo Istúriz, one year after his sowing, in the General Cemetery of the South, in Caracas.
The event was attended by the Minister of Education, Yelitze Santaella, as well as representatives of the Afro-descendant, educational and social movements, the Bolivarian Family Movement and the Bolivarian Student Organization.
After a military parade by the Bolivarian Militia, the deputy to the National Assembly, Jesús Faría, highlighted the optimism of Professor Istúriz who “overwhelmed any scenario of difficulties and there are many of us who have gone through.”
Through his account on the social network Twitter, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, remembered him as his partner in battle.
«It is one year since the passing into eternity of my dear brother and companion in battle, Aristóbulo Istúriz, a revolutionary who never ceased in the struggle to build the good Homeland. Brother! I know you are in a great place, you guide our way with your hopeful smile.
For his part, the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, recalled that a year ago he received the painful news of the physical departure of teacher Aristóbulo Istúriz.
«A year ago we received one of the hardest news in recent years, Aristóbulo left us, a mixture of anger, pain, sadness for the departure of the friend, the brother, the teacher, the companion, the brave Aristóbulo. Honor and glory. We will win!”, expressed Cabello this Wednesday on the social network.
On April 27, 2021, Aristóbulo Istúriz, an outstanding teacher, revolutionary politician and fighter for social rights, departed.
Istúriz, a native of Curiepe, Miranda state, always carried the doctrine of Simón Rodríguez to the fore. He was a walking teacher, who was characterized by breaking paradigms during the Fourth Republic.
