A woman was killed and 11 other people were injured in an accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon on the road between Naiguatá and Tanaguarena.
The victim was identified as Samantha Rey Pacheco, who was riding as co-pilot in the Toyota Corolla vehicle, which collided with a transport unit.
The head-on collision occurred specifically in the Paso de Caballo sector, on the road to Naiguatá.
Seven of the injured were taken to the Naiguatá outpatient clinic and another four were taken to the José María Vargas Hospital in La Guaira, given their serious condition.
