The president of the Venezuelan Federation of Secondary Education Students, Valentina Ríos, indicated that during the year 2022 the “One student, one tree” Program planted two million 533 thousand trees in the first six months of last year.
In an interview on the Café en la Mañana program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, Ríos pointed out that the program promotes awareness of environmental protection in the family group, “when we plant a tree, we plant life, we plant awareness, love.”
For his part, the comptroller spokesman of the Bolivarian Student Organization, Reiner Díaz, explained that since last year the students have been participating in the planting of tree seeds, in Warairarepano, with the support of the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism. .
Likewise, he added that the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism monitors the students and directs the places where the seeds can be planted, “the ministry has previously selected the areas where the trees are to be planted and they guide us ”.
The projections that the Venezuelan Federation of Secondary Education Students have for this year 2023 is that from the preschool stage to the diversified middle school they actively participate in the “One student, one tree” Program and achieve the planting of eight million trees.
