Two heavy cargo vehicles collided around 6:11 p.m. this Wednesday, leaving one person dead and another trapped in the vehicle.
The accident occurred on the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho highway towards Guarenas near Zodi Miranda.
One of the vehicles was transporting “corrosive material” that spread across the pavement. Apparently the spilled chemical is “ozonium number eight.”
The highway was closed in both directions, in order to quickly facilitate the transfer of paramedical personnel, as well as security forces officials.
It should be remembered that on December 13, 2023, at 7 in the morning on the same highway, a large accident occurred.
The accident occurred when a truck carrying 20 containers of thinner, a flammable material, collided with one of the vehicles that were already on the road, detained for a first incident.
It was then that the large explosion occurred, affecting more than 15 vehicles and causing the death of numerous people.
