One of the wounded in an attack on Maracaibo shops died

11-year-old boy was hanged in Portuguesa

Luis Castilla, one of the workers of Tu Finca Express, died on Sunday, one day after the armed attack against the aforementioned commercial establishment located in the Gallo Verde sector, Maracaibo (Zulia), according to police sources.

Castilla was shot in the abdomen last Saturday when gunmen fired at the business premises. The worker from the butcher area was taken to the Castillo Plaza Maternity Hospital where he died early Sunday morning.

The Tu Finca Express business confirmed the death through a message of condolences posted on its Instagram account.

The director of the Cicpc, Commissioner Douglas Rico, reported through his social networks that he had traveled to the capital of Zulia to investigate “in depth the events that have kept our people from Marabino in anxiety.”

In addition to Tu Finca Exprés, that Saturday the Samba Supermarket, located on 78th street in the Zulia capital, was also attacked with a firearm. A gunman who arrived on a motorcycle entered the ATM area, threw an explosive device, fired immediately and fled.

As a result of the two attacks, eight people were injured.
