A member of the Tren de Aragua criminal organization was killed during an armed confrontation that occurred in the Guayabal 95 sector, Ezequiel Zamora municipality (Villa de Cura), according to military sources.
Agents assigned to the Rural Command Detachment 42-3 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) arrived at the site and had a confrontation with members of the Aragua Train. In the middle of the fray, one of the criminals fell down.
At the site, the soldiers collected a 12-gauge CBC shotgun and a radio transmitter.
Another armed confrontation with individuals from the Aragua Train took place in the Rosario de Paya sector, Santiago Mariño municipality (Turmero).
After an exchange of fire, the criminals fled towards a wooded area, leaving behind a fragmentary grenade, a Browning PGP pistol from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces with an extra-long magazine, a 7.62×51 mm Light Automatic Rifle magazine, nine 9mm caliber cartridges and twenty-one 7.62×59mm caliber cartridges.
Both procedures were notified to the Public Ministry.
