The historic conquest of the third star in Qatar 2022 this Wednesday its first month and on their return to the teams, the world champion players have already scored fifteen goals in almost the same number of days.
The December 18, 2022 It will remain forever engraved in history along with the names of the 26 members of the Argentine World Champion team in Qatar.
The effect of the third star on the shield of the Argentine national team was immediate on the players, since the boost of spirits was reflected in the first month after the historic final against France.
Since soccer resumed after the World Cup break, ten world champions have scored 15 goals in nearly as many days.
The data takes more force if it is taken into account that on the side of the French team six goals were registered, less than half.
Until now, Paulo Dybala Y Lautaro Martinez lead the list of scorers with three goals each, while Alexis MacAllister he follows them with two shouts.
Those who celebrated one are the captain Lionel Messi, Ángel Di María, Julián Álvarez, Enzo Fernández, Marcos Acuña, Ángel Correa and Juan Foyth.
The World Cup effect was not only for the outfield players, since goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli was the star of the first transfer and went from Villarreal, of Spain, to Ajax, of the Netherlands, for a sum close to eight million euros.
Also, both Emiliano “Dibu” Martinezat Aston Villa, as Franco Armanion their return to River Plate, had outstanding performances.

The positive streak of the world champions began on the last day of 2022, since on December 31 Foyth scored Villarreal’s winning goal over Valencia (2-1) in the Spanish League.
Alexis Mac Allister and “Toro” Martínez were the first to score at the start of 2023.
The Brighton midfielder, one of the revelations of Qatar 2022, scored two in the FA Cup win over Middlesbrough on January 7.
The Inter Milan striker, meanwhile, scored in the 2-2 draw against Monza in Serie A and ended a drought of almost two months.
The following day, Marcos Acuña joined with a header to open Sevilla’s victory against Getafe in Spain and Julián Álvarez with his penalty goal for Manchester City against Chelsea (4-0) for the FA Cup.
On January 10, Lautaro Martínez was decisive for Inter’s qualification in the Italian Cup with a goal against Parma (2-1) and last Saturday he scored again and gave his team victory against Hellas Verona.
Enzo Fernández reappeared in Benfica after the punishment with which the Lisbon club sanctioned him -for traveling to Argentina to spend the end of the year- with a great goal against Varzim, for the Portuguese Cup.
Captain Lionel Messi returned to play after his unforgettable performance in the final on December 18 and it was in PSG’s 2-0 victory over Angers: he scored his sixth consecutive goal.
Since last September 14, Messi, between PSG and Argentina, has played 22 games and scored 21 goals.
Paulo Dybala from Cordoba returned to Roma with everything and scored three goals in two games: on January 12, he scored against Genoa to advance in the Italian Cup; and on Sunday he added his first double in his new club for the victory over Fiorentina.
Last weekend the list was extended with the shout out of Ángel Correa for Atlético de Madrid, in the draw against Almería.
The reverse side is Rodrigo DePaulwho still has not added minutes in Diego Simeone’s team after the final against France.
The Argentine celebration that was left with little flavor was that of Ángel Di María, another of the figures in the definition against “Les Bleus”, who put Juventus’ 1-2 partial against Napoli but achieved little, since they finally left the Diego Armando Maradona stadium with a 5-1 win.
The life of the Argentine squad changed forever from that dreamed but long-suffering final against France at the Lusail stadium.
The technical director Lionel Scaloni also told, in various interviews with the Spanish media, details of how he is required by the people since he became the third DT to lift the World Cup with Argentina.
From the people who bet at his family home in Pujato to the Europeans who greet him through the streets of Palma de Mallorca -where he lives with his family- and remind him of details of one of the best definitions in the history of the World Cups. .
Until the end of March -when they play a couple of friendly matches- the world champions will not feel the affection of the Argentine public again, who took to the streets en masse to celebrate the title, but in the meantime they are in charge of showing off in Europe.
They inaugurate a new mural of Messi
A new mural of Lionel Messi, captain of the Argentine national team, will be inaugurated this Wednesday in the city of Buenos Aires, one month after the historic conquest of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The image of the idol raising the World Cup trophy will be unveiled at 8:00 p.m. in “Los Galgos”, one of the notable bars in the capital, located on Callao y Lavalle avenue.
The work was carried out by the National Mosaic, a group of artists that emerged twelve years ago with the aim of making murals that represent the history of Argentina.
The artists who also created the “Comando Maradona” will pay homage for the first time to Messi, the “great captain” who demonstrated his commitment “to the flag” in the World Cup in Qatar.
This was highlighted by the muralist Gonzalo Lopez Lluchby Mosaico Nacional, in dialogue with Télam prior to the inauguration of the work.
The mural is made in mosaic with glass veneers, with coating material and has the characteristic that it does not get damaged with the passage of time, light or humidity.
“Our objective as an intervention project in public space is to leave a mark that has to do with a conquest or with part of Argentine history. That is our work agenda,” said López Lluch, who announced that they have already received other proposals to carry out works with the figure of Messi.
The next to be discovered will be in the town of Pilar inside the new Lionel Messi sports center and another in the Palermo area with the image of the captain singing the anthem.
In addition to the works of the “Maradona Command” in different parts of the city of Buenos Aires, National Mosaic also made the representative scarf of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo.
“We hope that it is a mark in time and that each person who passes by feels part of it. In addition, it will also be part of the cultural heritage of the City of Buenos Aires,” said the artist.
For the future there are also ideas for “collective projects” so that each person can contribute their little venezia and be part of the history reflected in popular art.
