One in 10 young people aged 15 to 17 has suffered sexual violence at school: expert

One in three adolescents has suffered gender-based violence and 12.8 percent of women, between 15 and 17 years old, declared having suffered some form of sexual violence in the school environment
said Diana Fuentes, research professor at the Department of Politics and Culture of the Autonomous Metropolitan University, Xochimilco unit.

Prevention and sanctions
Lourdes Pacheco Ladrón de Guevara, researcher at the Autonomous University of Nayarit, presented the study Dismantling youth and gender violence in higher education institutions in Mexico
which has among its proposals to establish a certification in nonviolent education for all higher education faculty and staff
