One person died and at least 15 tourists were injured, resulting in the collision of a private truck with a tourist service bus in Cusco.
The incident occurred last Monday afternoon, at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the sector called Mayumarca, belonging to the town of Quiquijana on the Cusco – Arequipa road.
In the place the tourist transport bus collided with license plate D2J-953 and the private truck with license plate AHG-746.
Due, the five passengers who were in the truck were severely injured and one died inside the unitwhile 15 tourists of various nationalities ended up with bruises on different parts of the body.
After the accident, The injured were helped by the Police and Firefighters, who took them to the Quiquijana and Urcos Health Center, with the most serious being helped to the city of Cusco.
What happened was communicated to the representative of the Public Ministry, who arranged to carry out the legal actions in charge of specialist experts from the Police.
