A man died this Sunday afternoon after hitting the motorcycle on which he was traveling against a vehicle in a road accident that occurred in the neighborhood of new paris.
The incident occurred around noon this Sunday. A man was driving a Volkswagen Bora model vehicle on José Llupes street. At a certain moment a motorcycle with two people on board crossed paths and the impact occurred.
Due to the strong impact, the two occupants of the motorcycle were thrown and fell to the ground. The driver, a 19-year-old man, died at the time of the accident. On the other hand, the occupant, a 21-year-old woman, was seriously injured.
On the other hand, the driver of the vehicle lost control over it due to the impact and collided head-on with a public lighting column. Although he had to be transferred to a health center, the injuries he presented were minor.
In accordance with Telemundo, witnesses reported that the driver of the vehicle was driving at a speed well above the 45 kilometers allowed for Llupes street. Likewise, they reported that the motorists were not wearing a protective helmet and that, in addition, they did not respect the “give way” sign that was on the street.
